der titel apparenda vaga – die ‚vage erscheinende’ – bezieht sich auf die geburt der aphrodite in der griechischen mythologie. das schäumen und wogen des meeres, das auftauchen, verschwinden und wieder neu erscheinen waren ideegebende impulse für meine komposition. ich habe darin nach einer form für das formlose, das vage und sich immer wandelnde gesucht.

the title apparenda vaga – ‘the one who appears vaguely’ – refers to the birth of aphrodite in greek mythology. the foaming and surging of the sea, its emergence, disappearance and reappearance, were the creative impulses behind my composition. I sought within it a form for the formless, the vague and the ever-changing.
